Apply for a Loan

Thank you for applying for a loan. In order to proceed with the on-line application process, Federal law requires certain disclosures be provided to you and that we advise you of your rights regarding those disclosures. Prior to accessing IDAPP’s online loan application, you must consent to both the E-Sign Consent & Disclosure and the Privacy Policy outlined below. E-Sign Consent & Disclosure

You may apply for, and if approved, receive an IDAPP Stafford, GradPLUS or PLUS loan by submitting either an electronic or paper application/promissory note.

All of the disclosures, records or other information (collectively “disclosures”) related to or stated within your application will be made available to you in paper and/or electronic format.   

The Disclosures will be provided to you in a paper and/or electronic format at no cost if you send a written request to IDAPP, P.O. Box 707, Deerfield, IL  60015-0707, Attn: PALS, or call us at (800) 961-IDAP (4327).  

You may withdraw your request to receive disclosures electronically at any time.
In order to withdraw your consent, you must contact us in writing at IDAPP, P.O. Box 707, Deerfield, IL  60015-0707, Attn: PALS, or call us at (800) 961-IDAP(4327).  There will not be any negative consequences to you for withdrawing your consent.

Your consent applies to all disclosures, records or other information related to your application and any loan made to you.

To ensure that we provide you with notices and information from time to time, you must update us with any change in your address and email address.  To do so, please submit a Change of Information request at www.IDAPP.org or contact us in writing at IDAPP, P.O. Box 707, Deerfield, IL  60015-0707, Attn: PALS, or call us at (800) 961-IDAP (4327). 

In order to receive the disclosures electronically, the following minimum computer hardware and software requirements must be met: a computer with Internet access and any of the following recommended browsers with 128-bit encryption SSL protocol for security: Netscape Navigator/Communicator version 6.2.3 or later, or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later.   You can use either a Macintosh or IBM compatible computer.

In order to keep copies of the disclosures for your records, you will need access to a printer or the ability to download and view or save Acrobat PDF documents.

To print, select the print function on your browser.

To download, you will need at least Acrobat Reader.  Select the “Save As” option from the browser File menu.

Privacy Policy

During the normal business of originating and servicing your loan account, IDAPP has collected an array of nonpublic personal information. The nonpublic personal information may have been collected from any of the following sources: 
			
•	Federal applications or other federal financial aid forms information sent to IDAPP 
•	Information from our affiliates, other prior transactions with IDAPP, or other agencies 
•	Consumer reporting agencies i.e. credit bureaus etc. 

IDAPP respects your right for privacy and takes extreme measures to ensure that your nonpublic personal information is kept in confidence. We maintain strict security safeguards that are far above the required federal standards. Also, IDAPP does not sell or make available our customers’ or prior customers’ nonpublic personal information to anyone except as permitted by law. 

At IDAPP, student loans are our only business. Securing your nonpublic personal information is our commitment to you, our customer. Listed below is our privacy policy. It is our policy and procedure to collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

•	Information we receive from you on applications or other forms; 
•	Information we receive from your school; 
•	Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and 
•	Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency. 

It is our policy and procedure not to disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.
It is our policy and procedure to restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide services to you. It is our policy and procedure to maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
